The assessment is a fixed-fee, two- or three-week review that ends in an estate inventory, a target architecture, a risk register and a phased roadmap your board can fund. This scorecard is a self-check, not a finding.
Scored against the Aripone modernization readiness checklist (26 items; this self-check covers 14). Weights: items whose absence makes a migration unrecoverable or breaks a partner count three; items that add cost or delay count two; hygiene counts one. Any "No" or "Not sure" on a three-point item caps the rating at Exposed. Support end-of-life dates are a common trigger: .NET 8 LTS support ends 2026-11-10.
